The fireplace surround is going to be awesome! The first step was to install the marble around the firebox.

This will give you a general idea of what the fireplace surround will look like when it's up on the way.

It will be so beautiful when it's done....

It's a lot of work, though.

The wood is stained and the top coat is on and it's going up! It's going to look... spectacular! I'm sooooo excited!

It's done! And it looks AWESOME! It's SO much prettier than the old fireplace was.
