Thanks Angela! I'd love to meet some fellow BBers in person. Unfortunately I don't think the stars are going to align this year. Still waiting to find out some appointment times (apartment inspections, movers etc.) before I can make the final decision though.

I just joined the board yesterday. We recently moved to Bonn, Germany, so I'm really excited to see SCWBI conferences on the same side of the pond. Does the conference need any help? I'd be glad to be useful in some way.

ldecher, I don't know where bonn is exactly, but I do know that Kirsten Carlson is the RA for the SCBWI Germany/Austria region - she's  very cool and I'm sure can point you in the right direction. You can find her with a quick google I believe - she's definitely on facebook and twitter.
