writing sample- format question
« on: October 21, 2012, 12:17 PM »
I'm submitting my first article queries this week by email (for FACES and APPLESEEDS).  My most relevant published writing samples are newspaper articles, but they were written three computers ago and I do not have Word/text files.  Could I scan and submit an image or .pdf of the actual printed article, or should I re-type the articles in Word?  Thanks for any advice.

Magazines typically expect to see clips - the actual printed piece, not a word file. So I'd say scan or PDF.
