Topic: If you grew up in the '70s or '80s . . .

Maybe you can help me remember the title of this middle grade book? It had two boys who were friends, the narrator and a boy named Duffy and that's literally all I can think of right now! (I know, long shot, but a girl can hope.)

Excellent, Mara!  It's such a satisfying feeling to be reunited with a beloved book.  And, yes, Bonnie is my mother in law.  I'm on submission right now with a middle grade story, and had the pleasure of meeting Ann-Marie at her book launch.  I'm looking forward to meeting more C-ville kids' writers.  If you have a chance, please let me know who I should look up!  I'd love to find/build a critique group of dedicated children's writers.
