I just finished making my granddaughter's wedding cake for her reception this evening. (It starts in less than an hour.) I think the cake came out beautiful! It's totally homemake - the cake, the flowers, the frostings, everything. It's carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and buttercream decorations. YUM!

Your cake looks amazing!! I love the colors, and the contrast of the dark violet flowers against the buttercream yellow! Brilliant!!!

I just wish everyone on the blue boards could taste it!

It's completely beautiful! And what aplomb, to be putting the finishing touches on an hour before. Of course, we are used to deadlines, are we not.
