Thrilling, even without Duran Duran
« on: August 25, 2012, 08:22 PM »
I'm thrilled to no end to have been asked by our local paper to begin a guest column, called "Stranger than Fiction: An Author's Thoughts on Truth."

I used to dream of writing for The Germantown News when I was a kid. This makes me feel just like I did playing reporter in my room when I was ten. (Only without the Duran Duran record playing in the background.)

I posted my first piece here: https://www.facebook.com/SwayByAmberMcReeTurner

It's a story straight from my heart, so I was a little nervous coming out of the gate with it...

Thanks for sharing. I need to remember the AND for our family as we struggle through several different issues. God isn't done with us yet. There is more to our story.

Amber, terrific piece! Raw truth, honesty, faith, hope, belief....what more do you need, coming out of the gate? Cheers to a long-running column (oh, but please, figure out how to bring in Duran Duran -- my love for John Taylor lives on in my tween heart....)
