Topic: Error when updating profile

I'm trying to update my profile but when I save, I get this message:

"Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again."

I've tried to log out and back in, but I get the same message. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Are you trying to change your photo, or just the profile fields?

I wanted to add a signature and select "yes" to are you a member of SCBWI.

I haven't a clue why it won't update your profile. I changed your SCBWI status to Yes. What did you want in your profile for a signature? If you can't get it to update, perhaps I can add it for you. (Are you trying to use apostrophes or other punctuation in the signature? That often makes the board have convulsions and it won't update or post....)

Unfortunately, no, LoriA, because the conference is before we move down there. (While we're moving, actually!)  I'll see what I can do for you with your profile.

Hmm. It updated just fine. Must be some setting somewhere in your browser or computer that's causing your problem, Lori. At any rate, it's there in your signature now.

I am getting the same warning.  Session timed out, please try again.  I have tried to upload an avatar six times.
I tried two different files, a jpeg and a pdf, but neither would load.  Is there a secret I don't know about?

Lane, the file size is really small for avatars. I would try a really small file, like under 60 or 70kb. I had to resize mine a few times before it would load. If that doesn't work, let us know and we'll look into it.
