Just saw this post -- I recently read COME SEE ABOUT ME and thought it was really great. If you don't have a e-reader, they have the paperback at Amazon for 9.99.

I thought it was a engaging read. Intense grief and the slow burn of a new romance all rolled into one. C.K.'s writing rocks! Loved the setting of Oakville outside Tornto too, it was brought to life like a living, breathing character.

Oh, fun! Thanks for that link, C.K. I might have to read the book again just to soak up those photos along with what I'm reading. For the record, the Towne Square is much bigger than what I pictured, but the lake is almost exactly as I thought. Liam's apartment, too, sort of the industrial chic vibe I felt. Very fun.

Loved the pier photo too -- it was a great use of setting because the wide expanses (lake, pier, towne square) were juxtaposed great with those other more cozy elements like her shop or the places they'd get coffee and stuff.

Very cool!
