Is anyone submitting something for this? I'm thinking of submitting the early chapters of my MG novel, but can't decide how much to send in. The guidelines say up to 10,000 words, but I noticed that previous winners submitted much less.

I would definitely submit much less than that. No more than maybe 10-15 tight pages. I entered a couple years back and when I read the winning entries, realized I'd sent in WAY too many pages.
