Eating Crow

Do children know what "eating crow" means? Mine do, but they also hear it in a song they love. I've used the phrase before, but not often.

Just wondering if you could ask your kiddos for me... :)

I think it's OK to use words/expressions kids have never heard before. They have to learn them somewhere.

Thanks, Wolfie. I am using it in a wip and it has a double meaning. I'm excited about the story, but it is a little weird. Much like me. :)
