A New Magazine from Highlights
« on: June 02, 2012, 12:00 AM »
On their facebook page, Highlights mentioned their new magazine coming out next year, for ages 0-2, called Hello.  They are having a baby shower giveaway to celebrate.  Kathleen Hayes of High Five will be editing Hello, as well.  Congrats to Highlights on their new "baby!"

Oh, that is SOOOO cool!  How cute!  It'll be like Highlights' version of Babybug:babygirl

Yep, that's what it'll be similar to, wolfie712, even in trim size.  Did it say anything about submissions, awful waffles?

Always great to have another magazine available to sub to.  :cheerleader  Especially high quality ones like Highlights produces.  Thanks for sharing, awful waffles.

Bumping to ask if anyone knows if Hello is accepting submissions?  I see the first issue comes out in December and there is a preview on the Highlights website.  I don't see Hello mentioned specifically in the "current needs" page for contributors at this time.

I'd say go ahead and submit.  Since my earlier posts, they've purchased two of my poems for Hello (don't know when they'll appear) and I've received "Bear Cards" on two more.  Can't wait to see the actual magazine!  Highlights is a class act.
