Oh Tracy, congratulations!!! That is SO exciting! I think I read a first chapter of this at the Rutgers conference (I think it was fall 2005, or maybe 2006)? Or am I just imagining that? It was a great first chapter, set at the memorial service, with such a great voice.

Tracy, I know I am *so* late to this party, but HUGE congrats to you. I read and loved HUM OF A DAISY I think in December for MSFV Baker's Dozen. IS that correct? At any rate, it stayed with me, and I never connected that it was a BlueBoarder's work. That, and I have to say THANK YOU for sharing your story. I am in a similar boat with my middle grade, having started years ago and am trying to connect the dots after a re-write. It is very much like being on a scavenger hunt, and wanting to quit when the hunt becomes too mind-numbing. Looking forward to seeing DAISY in print. Cheers, Kristin
