Hélène, that map is hilarious. Only problem with it I can see is in BC the "Old People" and the "Hippies" are reversed. Trust me, there are more old people on Vancouver Island than hippies. And more hippies in the Kootenays than old people. Heck, the old people in the Kootenays ARE hippies.

We're in spitting distance practically! Very cool! I'm only about 45 minutes from the border...or if my speed demon DH is driving, a little less.

I've been away from the board for ages, but I have recently returned.

I was born in Montreal, Quebec - lived in Kingston, Ottawa and Hamilton (Ontario) for varying lengths of time, and have now lived in the beautiful (if somewhat wet, dark and soggy) Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
I've had numerous articles published in children's and parenting magazines and my first novel, Delilah, has recently been published.

I write everything from picture books to novels, as well as articles, poems, crafts, puzzles and much much more.
