PERSONAL Info About Verla Kay's Life
Verla Kay:
After all the years of hard work and the massive amount of money we have put into remodeling our home, we just listed it for sale. If you know anyone who wants to live in a small, loving, relaxed farming town in eastern Washington that is just an hour from Spokane, please share this link with them.
It's a wonderful, old house that was built in 1903. Over the past six years it has been stripped down to bare studs on the inside, and has been totally rewired, replumbed, reinsulated, sheetrocked, and finished. It's an incredible home and I love it - but we are relocating for a good portion of the year to Arizona and it just doesn't make sense for us to be paying over $1000 a month for home that is sitting empty for months at a time. So... here is my home that is for sale:

Thanks for sharing it with interested people,
Verla Kay

I admit it; I'm one of the nosy neighbors who'd come to your open house, so thanks for the opportunity to peek inside your life. I'd be heartbroken to have to leave a home that looks so well put-together, but grace is knowing when it's time to move on and I hope you find a wonderful buyer soon!
(And if I lived there, that chandelier wouldn't look nearly as sparkly; it would more likely be--as we say--still decorated for Halloween.)
Bridgette Booth:
Very cool! I've never seen a house video like this but it gives a very good idea of the feel of the house (vs. still photo shots). I'll be glad to pass the link along and I hope you get lots of offers. By the way, my 11 year old daughter was watching with me and approved because you have a "climbable" tree. That is always her first assessment of any property. :goodluck
Laura Manivong:
What a gorgeous place, Verla. Hope Arizona is just as lovely (it's one of my favorite places!).
AnneN:
What a beautiful house, Verla!
