Topic: itunes apps for writers

Hello all. I just received an ipod touch as a gift, and was wondering if any of you have downloaded any apps that you find particularly useful for writers. I was browsing through productivity/creativity-related apps like Headspace and mindmeister, but to be honest, I'm new to all this and found the choice a little overwhelming. Any suggestions? I also have an iPod touch, and when I got it, I downloaded an app called "goodreader" for reading downloaded books, articles, etc.  They may have a newer app now with the whole iBookstore coming online.  As far as writer's tools, though, I use GoodReader to read research that I downloaded from ScribD.  Have fun!

I have Stanza for reading.

I use Air Sharing do load my manuscripts, research notes, and character sketches onto my iTouch so I always have them with me.

I have the kindle app for reading, and a good dictionary that I love having so handy. I seriously love my iTouch

There's a Kindle e-reader app for iPhone/iTouch, and a Barnes & Noble one, too. My personal experience is that the B&N one is nicer to use, but I've had tech issues with it that I haven't had with the Kindle app. FWIW (and I now have a dedicated Sony Reader, so I don't know how much I'll be using them now anyway ).

Thanks to all. I downloaded stanza, goodreader and air share last night. Now I just have to figure out how to use them. Got "hangman" working no problem.
