Changing my picture to my book cover

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I'm having trouble changing my picture
to a picture of my book cover. Recently I tried to upload my book cover in 'good news' and it
was so hard I gave up and posted my website instead (there's a pic. of the cover there).

Is it as complicated to change the picture too? Help!

Hi Laura. The short answer, I think, is that it shouldn't be complicated but there are some problems with the attachments directory that Verla has been unable to solve. There was a thread on this here: http://www.verlakay.com/boards/index.php?topic=40133.0

I was unable to upload a new picture from my computer so eventually just set up a Photobucket account, uploaded my cover there, and then used the "I have my own pic" option which allows you to link directly to the image (Photobucket will give you the url for your pic to use in that field). I didn't really want a Photobucket account, but it took all of about 30 seconds to set up, so wasn't a big deal.

Hi, okay. I'm officially in need of assistance. I tried to replace my picture
with a picture of my book cover. Now my picture is gone and, no matter
what I do, I can't upload my book cover. I did open a photobucket account
and tried to upload from there, but that didn't work either.

Verla, if I email you a pic of the book cover, would you be so kind as to
uploud it for me? I'd be forever indebted. Thanks!

Dee, I went ahead and did this from your photobucket.

The url under share this album appears not to work. I clicked on the photo to obtain another one. That probably doesn't make sense.

Edited to add: If it is viewed through explorer, image appears a little stretched. With google chrome it looks great. (I have noticed that with other pictures, too.)
