Seems early for notifications...unless NF is sooner than other categories. Years past saw winner and runners-up notified in Aug/Sept.

Congratulations! That's exciting news.

It was nice to see several familiar names from these boards. Way to go, people!

I received a Letter of Merit this week in the contemporary category!

After so much work (believe me) it's astonishing and nice!

I've got to finish this book   :horse:

Last year I received a Letter of Merit for YA Contemporary and the letter came around July 22nd or 23rd.  It was dated July 18th.

So any day now!

In 2010, I got the call about the Barbara Karlin Grant on 6/30.

Good luck to those of you waiting!  :clover1:

Great. Another thing to obsess about. I didn't think that was coming up on the radar until September. :)

Yep, went through the mail and saw a letter from SCBWI .... I could see colored paper through the window and thought it looked like a renewal
notice, so I was only a very slight wee bit jittery. Yep, a reminder to renew dated over two weeks after I had actually renewed. I double checked online.
My renewal has gone through.

Thanks for the info, Lea. Congratulations to all the winners.

Does anybody know if they do Letters of Merit anymore? I didn't see that list anywhere, and it's usually
posted same time as the winners.
