The one PB guaranteed to make me laugh out loud & often (which made it really tough to get the kids to sleep when I'd read it to them) is:

Dr. Seuss's SLEEP BOOK.

OMG! The first time I read it I had tears streaming down my face I was laughing so hard. I didn't think I'd ever get my daughter to sleep.

8 year old grandson who, HATES to read,  loves all of the "Scardy Squirrel" books by Melanie  Watt. The sort of funny book that appeals to both  the adult reader and the child being read to!
"Penelope and the Humongous Burp"
"Penelope and the Monsters"
"Penelope and the Preposterous Birthday Party"

I mentioned this title on another thread, but I think Prudence Wants A Pet by Kathleen Daly takes the prize. Making a Branch, a Twig, Footwear a pet is just a hoot. Once Prudence thinks little brothers might be a good pet, Mom and Dad cave in and get a pet, who Prudence names Branch. The images are funny. It's just way LOL.

I don't know if this has been listed... but my most recent favorite is CHICKEN CHEEKS. http://www.amazon.com/Chicken-Cheeks-Michael-Ian-Black/dp/1416948643 SOOOO fabulous. The story is told in the pictures for the most part. You have to watch for the action...and it is hilarious!
