That is totally cool, but since I am the personification of computer illiterate I just go to Edit, click Find and type in Chapter 11 or whatever. Told you I'm dumb. :lol

Okay, weird. I never did any of this and my chapters and page numbers show on the right scroll bar as I scroll through my manuscript. Or are you guys talking about something completely different. Hmmm. Wonder if I had some kind of auto-setting check box checked and didn't know it.

Great info.

I use "normal" for text and "header 1" for chapters and it automatically generates a TOC. Easy peasy.
